PARTICIPANT INFORMATION

Any amateur or professional cyclist as long as they are over 16 years old can participate in L'Étape Malaysia by Tour de France in Melaka. Since this is a physically demanding cycling event that requires intensive training, we encourage you to do a full physical examination prior to the race to determine fitness and health.

L'Étape Malaysia by Tour de France will travel you to the thrilling journey through historical beauty of Melaka at The Sail Melaka, Melaka, Malaysia.

The first edition of L'Étape Melaka will take place on Sunday, 5th May 2024.

L'Étape Melaka is the best experience any amateur cyclist can enjoy on his bike. Without a doubt, you will enjoy the spirit of competitive cycling with the charm of historical exploration, and start & finish zone. As we want L'Étape to be accessible to every amateur cyclist, 2 formats will be proposed to participants:

Before the race

• Official 2024 L’Étape Melaka Jersey *
• Bike Plate

During the race

• Snacks and Refreshment on the route, during race day
• Mechanical Support in the village and on the race course
• Exclusively for the Elite Wave: The Competitive Race, participation to win the official Tour de France Yellow, White, and Green Jersey
• Mobile feed privileges exclusively for the Elite Wave: The Competitive Race
• If you have to withdraw from the race, we will provide transport to the finish line

After the race:
